Huntsville's first-ever pickle festival brings together all things pickled and fermented: live music, activities, pickle contests, vendors selling everything from classic dills to spicy pickled watermelon rinds and beyond. 🌾 GRAZE: Farm to Fork Picnic Benefit
DATE TBDThe most farm-to-table event in North Alabama — presented by the Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network. Farmers and chefs team up to showcase produce, meat, and handcrafted products in a shared dish. Ticket includes tastings from 20+ chef/farmer pairings, live music, and vendor booths. A beautiful, thoughtful event that celebrates where Huntsville's food actually comes from.

DATE TBDAlabama's first state winery competition — hosted by Homegrown Huntsville in gorgeous Big Spring Park. Wine tastings, food pairings, local vendors, and live entertainment. One of the most popular events on the annual Huntsville calendar and consistently a sell-out. Snag tickets as soon as the date drops.
⚾ Trash Pandas Beer & Wine Fest
DATE TBDCold beer, good wine, and baseball at Toyota Field. Unlimited sampling of 100+ beers and wines, a German Biergarten, live music, and ballpark food — all inside one of the best minor league stadiums in the country. The Madison angle makes this one especially convenient for west-side folks.
🏆 WhistleStop BBQ Festival
DATE TBDA beloved North Alabama tradition since 2001. Two full days of BBQ competition — wings tasting Friday, pulled pork Saturday — with a $2,000 grand champion prize on the line. Live music, vendors, and the kind of smoke-filled air that lets you know fall has arrived in Huntsville. One of the longest-running and most authentic BBQ events in the state.
🍽️ Athens Food & Wine Festival
NOVEMBERWorth the short drive to Athens. Food Network chef live cooking demos, 50+ wines to taste, live music, and local vendors — all free admission for the general event. The ticketed pavilion experience adds a 21+ wine tasting and chef demo with tastings by Chef Kev D. For 2026 an optional four-course wine dinner at Lil' Mazzara's with celebrity chef and winemaker Adam LaZarre is planned as an add-on.
🍺 Von Brewski Beer Festival
FEBRUARYHuntsville's most uniquely themed beer festival — held inside the Von Braun Center with 70+ taps from local breweries and beyond. German fare (brats, pretzels) pairs with the lederhosen-optional vibe. A mid-winter celebration that somehow makes February in Alabama feel festive.
🏛️ 116 Noble Supper Club
A boutique private dining experience in a beautiful setting — elevated Southern menus by Chef Allen Noble. Sunday brunch and ticketed dinner events throughout the year. Reservations required. One of the most intimate and refined dining experiences in Huntsville.
🥩 Southern Wagyu Monthly Supper Club
A gourmet butcher shop that doubles as a monthly supper club. Five-course themed dinners spotlighting premium Wagyu beef and chef-driven menus. For serious meat and food lovers, this is the monthly event worth building the calendar around.
🍷 Church Street Supper Club
Monthly themed dinners with wine pairings — a mainstay of Huntsville's serious foodie community. Members get priority access ($85/person) and the public can purchase tickets two weeks after the announcement ($125/person). Annual membership is $400/person or $700/couple. If you're serious about dining in Huntsville, this club is worth it.

Huntsville's food festival calendar has never been stronger — and 2026 adds two brand-new first-annual events (the Wine Fest and the Pickle Fest) to a lineup that was already one of the best in Alabama.
Our advice: buy tickets early. The Crawfish Festival, Wine Fest Grand Tasting, and Crush Wine Festival consistently sell out. Don't learn that lesson the hard way.
